バナナの皮で川をキレイに(Banana peel water filter)

バナナの皮を細かく刻んだもので作ったフィルターが、汚染された水から鉛などの重金属を取り除く効果が高い事が判明。しかもフィルターの清掃をしなくても、何度も繰り返し使えて(実験では11回も！)、手間もコストも低いとのこと。
